The below setup will see you through even the most intense firefights and will ensure you give just as good as you get even during medium and long-range encounters.

Like with most other automatic weapons, the name of the game here is to reduce the level of recoil generated, to ensure that as many of your shots find their mark as possible. The weapon Perks Hardscope and Fully Loaded were chosen with this in mind. Hardscope grants increased accuracy when aiming down the sights (which you should almost always be doing), and Fully Loaded ensures you have the maximum amount of ammunition possible for the BAR each time you spawn. We have gone with the MX Silencer, which, in addition to suppressing the sound of each shot, adds more vertical recoil stability to the build, which is essential for weapons like the BAR with a high rate of fire. The M194141 Hand Stop and CGC 30″ XL barrel both serve to further increase the accuracy of the BAR at longer ranges, increasing its versatility. The Polymer Grip and Pistol Grip Custom combined will steady the weapon, increasing accuracy both while stationary and on the move. Finally, the combination of .50 BMG 40 Round Mags with Lengthened ammunition is essential, boosting the range, bullet velocity, ammo capacity, bullet penetration, and overall damage of this loadout, tying the whole thing together. While you should take the Operator Perks that best suit your playstyle, EOD, Ghost, and Amped work particularly well with this setup. EOD will lessen the damage taken from enemy explosives, Ghost will keep you safe from UAVs and Heartbeat Sensors, and Amped will increase the speed at which you change to your secondary weapon, which can be a lifesaver in a tight situation. Remember, it’s important to pair a weapon like the BAR with something that will offset its shortcomings; consider taking an SMG with a large magazine and a high rate of fire for close-range encounters.
